Help for !EditFLAC

Introduction:
=============
Suppose you have a WAV (or FLAC) track which has a long-winded spoken
introduction and ends with some prolonged applause.
You may wish to edit out the introduction and/or the ending.
This is exactly what !EditFLAC can do.

!EditFLAC provides some basic editing of WAV (or FLAC) files before
conversion to FLAC, by using the facilities provided by the enclosed
'flac' application.

Using !EditFLAC:
================
Clicking <Select> on the iconbar-icon brings up the editing window.
Now just drag a WAV (or FLAC) file either to this window or to the
iconbar-icon.
(Files other than WAV (or FLAC) will be ignored.)

If you just want to perform a direct WAV-to-FLAC conversion without
making any editing then just click on 'OK' directly.

If you wish to edit your WAV/FLAC file then proceed as follows :-

Note that time intervals are denoted by mm for minutes, and ss seconds.
( If you use e.g !DigitalCD for playback you can take note, from its
display window, of the start and finish times you require.)

The editing window has just 2 sections:-

1. 'Start time' is the time interval to skip at the start, in mm and ss.

2. 'Finish time' is the time you wish to finish the track, in mm and ss.

Now click on the 'OK' icon.

This brings up a 'Save-as' box for the converted file.

Drag this to a suitable destination folder and the conversion will
begin automatically.

That's it!

Note: the 'Reset' icon just resets all items to their default values(=0).

Example:
========
 Suppose we have an MP3 track lasting 4:36 ((i.e 4 mins 36 secs) and we
wish to skip the first 27.3 secs and finish at 4:21.7 (thus skipping the
last 14.3 secs).
 We would therefore enter -
    Start time =  0 mm : 27.3 ss
   Finish time =  4 mm : 21.7 ss

( Note that the total duration of the track
  is now = 4:21.7 - 0:27.3 = 3:54.4 )
